MeDiee, Inc. (the “Company”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “APPI”) and other applicable laws and regulations in handling personal information on the website it operates (the “Site”), and sets out this Privacy Policy as follows.
1. Information We Collect
The Site collects the following information.
- Information you enter in the contact form: your company or organization, your name, your email address and the content of your inquiry
- Access information: IP address, type of browser and device, pages viewed, date and time of access, referrer and similar (collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies)
2. Purposes of Use
The Company uses the information it collects only for the following purposes.
- To reply to your inquiry and to contact you
- To review, record and manage the content of your inquiry
- To analyze how the Site is used, in a form that does not identify individuals, and to improve its content and usability
- To prevent spam and unauthorized access and to operate the Site securely
3. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal information to a third party without your consent, except in any of the following cases.
- Where required by law
- Where it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent
- Where it is particularly necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent
- Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government or a person entrusted by either in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the person’s consent is likely to interfere with carrying out those duties
4. Outsourcing
To the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, the Company may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to external contractors (for example, for delivering the Site and for receiving and managing inquiries). In that case, the Company exercises necessary and appropriate supervision over the contractor.

The Site uses the following external services. Their providers may handle data outside Japan.
Google tag (access analytics)
To understand how the Site is used, we use the Google tag provided by Google LLC. The Google tag collects access information using cookies. You can refuse the collection of this information by disabling cookies in your browser settings. Note that some features of the Site may then become unavailable.
reCAPTCHA (spam protection)
To protect the contact form from spam, we use reCAPTCHA provided by Google LLC. reCAPTCHA sends information such as your browser and device and your actions on the Site to Google in order to determine whether a submission comes from an automated program. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to the information sent.
6. Security
The Company takes necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and its leakage, loss or damage.
7. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use and the Like
If you ask the Company to notify you of the purposes of use of, to disclose, to correct, add to or delete, to stop using or to erase the personal information it holds about you, or to stop providing it to third parties, the Company will confirm your identity and respond in accordance with the APPI and other applicable laws and regulations. The Company may change this policy in response to changes in laws and regulations or a review of its business. The revised policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
